Disclaimer: Make sure you have a parent's permission to be in a kitchen or that you have adult supervision!

What You'll Need:

  • 3 Cubes of Butter (3 tbsp.)

  • 1c. of Sugar

  • 1/2 of Dark Brown Sugar

  • 3 Eggs

  • 1 tsp. Vanilla

  • 2 1/4 c. of Flour

  • 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda

  • 1/4 tsp. Salt

  • 1/2 tsp. Mint Extract or Mint Chocolate Chips

  • 1c. Chocolate Chips

*Note- Butter always works better at room temperature, it becomes soft and therefore blends together better, so sit out your butter for a little while before you begin. (It will be just fine to sit out until it is a little mushy). Also, it is best to cook on the least amount of time, as not to overcook and/or burn them because you can always put them back in again! :)

How to Prepare Them:
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Mix together the butter, vanilla, and sugars until smooth. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Meanwhile, mix all of the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, and salt) together, add to mixture. Lastly add in chocolate chips and mint sprigs. Drop the cookies onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9-12 minutes. Take them out of the oven, let them cool, and enjoy!
