What You'll Need:

Cake:

  • 2 Sticks of Butter or Margerine (SOFT)

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1 2/3c. Milk

  • 4 c. Flour

  • 1 tbsp. Baking Powder (NOT SODA)

  • 2 1/3c. Sugar

  • 3 tsp. Vanilla

Icing (very simple icing!)

  • 1c. Heavy Whipping Cream

  • 1/4c. Confectioners (powdered)Sugar

Flower (optional)

  • Red Icing

  • Green Icing

OR

  • You can buy a pre-made sugar flower as a topper, it doesn’t have to be big, or a tulip, just a pretty little decoration

How to Prepare:
Preheat your oven to 350. This one is pretty simple, because just like the game, all you do is mix all the ingredients together. No particular order, just as the recipe says. It might be easier to put in the dry ingredients first, similar to a boxed cake mix, and then add in the milk, eggs, butter, and vanilla. Bake for 35-40 minutes, in a 13x9 in. pan, or two round cake pans, whatever is available.

Icing: In the meantime, Pour the icing ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix until it is whipped. It tastes and looks like a homemade whipped cream and it is simple, and excellent!

The Flower(red): I'm going to try to explain this as best I can, but it isn't easy with pictures. Anyways, to start the top of the flower, take the icing and draw 3 side by side triangles (we will fill them in later so don't worry if it looks ugly). They should look something like this

^^^
only together and with a bottom. Connect the first and last triangles, from the end to the end, with a U shape.

The Leaves and Stem (green): From the bottom center of the U, draw to parallel lines, of equal distance apart. To draw the leaves, draw 2 parenthesises like so

()
and connect them at the top and bottom to where they are slightly pointed.
